Prof. Shyamprasad Karagadde has been awarded the Faculty Award for Research Excellence (FARE) instituted by the class of 1973 on the occasion of Golden Jubilee.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the largest departments in the Institute, with 62 full-time faculty members and over 50 full-time administrative and technical support staff.
